November 9 by Colleen Hoover Review

Hey Everyone, I hope you have a wonderful day with a lot of reading and of course with a review from me.
Well, I cannot even speak right now, because it was such an awesome and fun contemporary romance book. I just recently started to read Colleen Hoover books, but I love them. They are easy to read, the stories are well built and even if sometimes the characters are annoying a little bit, they are interesting. When I saw this book all around booktube, I wanted to read it right away. Not just because of the beautiful cover, but the story seemed to have an interesting plot line.
This is a story about a girl, her name is Fallon. And about a boy, whose name is Ben and he is also a writer. He is by far far one of the most impulsive male characters in my opinion, but he is also very complicated. I feel like we instantly get to know Fallon, but we only get to "see" the real Ben as the book is going to end. They are both 18 years old at the beginning of the story. What is not on the back of this book, is that Fallon had an accident, in which one side of her body was left scarred. It was a fire, and she is blaming her father because of it. She is an ex-actress as well and her whole carrier was over because of the accident. She is really insecure about her body, but she wants to start acting again so she is moving to New York on the day we pick up the story, on November 9th. ,where she wants to audition on Broadway to start her carrier again. November 9th is also the two year anniversary of the fire. Her father is not supportive, he thinks her whole carrier was gone with the fire and he thinks she is just wasting her time. They are sitting in a restaurant together, when Fallon just sees this cute guy, who is not looking away from her. When her father starts to be annoying and totally unsupportive again, the guy from the other booth just sits next to Fallon and he basically starts to act like he is Fallons boyfriend. He even helps her with her father. When her father is gone they start this fake relationship, and they instantly have chemistry between them, but they both know that they probably will never see each other again, because Fallon is moving away to New York (btw. the story takes place in Los Angeles). Ben is a writer and he has this idea that they should meet every november 9th for five years and Ben can write a book about is and until then they both can figure out their life. They don't talk to each other during the year, they don't know each others phone number. So  they see each other every year on November 9th. And each time they have to say goodbye from the other, although they are I think pretty much in love from the beginning. Life happens and they never seem to find each other at right time. We only see them once a year and surprisingly we don't feel left out from the story, because those days are very well written. Fallon and Ben can also talk to each other like they haven't missed a year from the others life. This book is pretty much an emotional roller coaster. So many things are happening trough the story, you don't even realize you red about five or six years.
Okay, now talk about the problems with tis book. As you could guess altogether it was a good book, but sometimes I just felt like it was too dramatic at some points and although it was really intense, I just didn't get the heartbreak or the tears, because it was just too much at the same time.
I liked that it was told from two different points of views and I even liked the end of the book, so I'm not disappointed at all. The most interesting thing was, how everything came together at the end of the book. This book made me read all day and I just flew through the pages so quickly. I'm definitely going to read more Colleen Hoover during 2016.
Until next time,
Bianka
